Aim for structure, not decoration

The best-looking target is not always the most useful target. Compare what each object supports and where it can fall. A shot into a lower joint can remove a full column, while a direct hit on a top object may only spend one ball for one break.

Change one variable at a time

When a shot misses, adjust angle or power, not both. If the ball passes above the intended point, lower the angle first. If it reaches the right line but falls short, add power in a small increment. This makes retries informative instead of random.

Let collisions finish

Smash Fest rewards patience after impact. Pieces may roll into another stack, bounce off a platform, or continue breaking targets after the first visible collapse. Firing too quickly can waste the ball you needed for cleanup.

Save a cleanup ball

Before the opening shot, identify any separated object that is unlikely to be reached by the main collapse. If the level gives a tight ball budget, plan the chain-reaction shot first and preserve one controlled attempt for what remains.
